Winstrol is one of the marketed trade names of Stanozolol, which is a synthetic steroid that is similar to natural steroid testosterone. It has androgenic and anabolic properties. Stanozolol steroid was first marketed in 1962 and created by Winthrop Laboratories. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved the drug for human use, but no longer available in the United States.[1]
